Paul
Morin Solo Show
June 27 to August 9, 2009
Opening
Reception, Artist Talk, Video Screening
Saturday, July 4, 6 to 9 p.m.
Over the past year,
Paul has found himself applying various
techniques, some familiar, others not. The
departure point for this work explores natural
laws and the states with allow its influence to
vary.
With
a freelance career that has spanned the past 30 years, Paul has worked for major advertising
agencies and publishers across North America.
His artwork has been exhibited in museums across
Canada including The Museum of Civilization.
Over the past decade, Paul has migrated toward
fine art and his abstracts and landscapes are in
private and corporate collections throughout
North America. His close association with the
Burdette Gallery has allowed him to experiment
with earth art and conduct workshops which
integrate ceremony and experimentation into art
instruction.
Since the release of
his first book, "The Orphan Boy",
(1990), he has achieved international
recognition and his books are sold worldwide.
Now with 16 books
behind him, Paul seeks only those projects that
require his well-known in-depth research. His
work has appeared in Newsweek, Maclean's
and in The Society of Illustrators annuals.
